Scientific Program

The overall theme for the ICCM20 was “Sustainable Composite Solutions to Global Challenges”, which reflects the critical role that composite materials have. We must create a future that consists of sustainable low carbon foot print and low CO2 emission technologies. Accomplishing this feat is an essential prerequisite for further development and improvement of the living conditions of the people of the world.

The themes chosen for ICCM20 covered all relevant aspects of the science and technology of composite materials, but are not limited to Nanocomposites, Structures and Design, Damage and Failure, Fatigue, Dynamic Effects, Novel Material Systems, Experimental Characterization, Health/Condition Monitoring, Smart/adaptive Material Systems, Manufacturing, Applications. There will also be special break out sessions within education/skills/training and technology transfer.

The Program – Program overview

The conference will commence Monday morning with the opening speech, and end Friday afternoon with the closing session.

On the Tuesday, we dedicated the program to the poster presentations combined with plenary lectures and oral presentations.
